  • Maakin Lab

    Participant in the Maakin Lab project (2003). Maakin Lab was developed in partnership with the Shetland College Department of Textiles and Design, On the Edge Research Project (Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen) and PAL (Performing Arts Lab). The project explored new ideas for how to revalue traditional Shetland knitting in terms of its relevance in the lives and livelihoods of Shetland people.
